About to ICLRHG 2026
The 2026 International Conference on Language Research and Human Geography will be held grandly in Kaifeng, a historic and cultural city in China. This conference is unique and dedicated to breaking down disciplinary barriers, closely linking language research with human geography, and delving into the intricate internal connections between language phenomena and geographical environments, as well as the profound impact these connections have on human society. The conference carefully set multiple core topics, covering key areas such as language diversity and geographical distribution, language evolution and changes in geographical environment, language policy and regional cultural protection. At that time, linguists, geographers, sociologists, and scholars in related fields from all over the world will gather in Kaifeng. They will showcase cutting-edge research results through keynote speeches, collide sparks of thinking in group discussions, share practical experiences through case studies, and jointly explore the intersection of language and human geography. In the wave of globalization, language, as an important carrier of culture, has become increasingly diverse and regional. As a discipline that studies the relationship between human activities and geographical environment, human geography provides a unique perspective for interpreting language phenomena. This conference will build a bridge for interdisciplinary communication, promote deep dialogue and cooperation between the two fields, and inject new vitality into the development of interdisciplinary research.

All full paper submissions to the ICLRHG 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of ICLRHG 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Submission Guidelines
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to iclrhg@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
